Terms of Adoption:

(Seller must be paid in full before buyer takes possession of cat/ kitten)

Policies & Agreements

All cats/kittens will receive appropriate shots, be examined by a licensed veterinarian, and will receive CFA registration upon proof of neutering.  Pricing will vary depending on many factors of the kitten. Kit Cat Club kittens start at $1500.  Breeding rights are generally not available.

A $300 (US) non-refundable deposit is required to hold any cat/ kitten offered for sale.  No cat/kitten will be held by the Seller for the Buyer, after receipt of deposit, for more than 2 weeks when the kitten is old enough to leave or be shipped. (Special circumstances are sometimes made. Those will be detailed separately and specifically. The remaining balance will be due before the scheduled pickup date. If payments are not paid in full to the seller and on time, Seller has the right to resell the cat and/or kitten; deposits and any other payment toward the cat/kitten will not be refunded. Pet kittens are sold on a spay/neuter contract. If kitten does not come spayed/neutered at the time of delivery, buyers are responsible to have the kitten altered by the time he/she reaches their 6 months of age. CFA registration will not be provided until proof of spay/neuter (copy of veterinary bill required).

Kittens are old enough to leave at 12 weeks of age. There are no exceptions to this policy.

  • Kit Cat Club reserves the right of refusal for the sale of any cat or kitten, at any time and without explanation, prior to delivery. If a deposit has been paid, it will be immediately refunded, and the contract cancelled without further obligation to the buyer.

  • Under no circumstances will this cat or kitten be sold, leased, or given away to any individual person, pet store, research laboratory, shelter, or similar facility. If Buyer becomes unable, or no longer desires to care for this cat/kitten, Seller will have the first option to have the cat/kitten returned to Seller, at Buyers expense, for resale by Seller, with NO REFUND to the Buyer.

As part of the sales agreement, the Buyer agrees to provide responsible care, as follows:

  1. Correct grooming and bathing

  2. Proper nutrition for the breed

  3. All needed veterinary care

  4. Protection from possible hazards such as dogs, small children, household chemicals, etc.

  5. An environment free of parasites

  6. Cat/kitten will not be declawed

  7. Under no circumstance allow the cat/kitten to roam freely outdoors

If any of these terms are broken, the guarantees will be null and void. Breeder will decide further legal actions.

Please be aware that a cat is a living animal just like you and cannot be guaranteed to never become ill. We strive to produce kittens that are free from any genetic diseases and as a part of our commitment to our buyers we guarantee our kittens against genetic diseases. If tests performed within the first year of the cat’s life prove that genetic disease exists in a cat obtained from us (written diagnosis and test results required), a replacement cat/kitten will be offered. Seller reserves the right to have a second opinion provided by a veterinarian of their choice.

Each cat/kitten has been evaluated by a licensed veterinarian prior to pick up and deemed free from any contagious diseases/parasites from the time of the examination until delivery to either the Buyer or pet nanny. If the kitten is being delivered by a private courier, this Health Guarantee does not cover fleas, ear mites, or fungus, since these can be acquired in route to Buyer’s home.

The Buyer has 72 hours from the date the Buyer receives the cat/kitten, to obtain veterinary confirmation of health. At that time, should the licensed veterinarian diagnose disease (through this initial examination and/or testing), the Buyer shall have the option to either: 1.) return the cat/kitten immediately for a replacement at the Buyer’s expense, or 2.) receive compensation for veterinarian prescribed medications and ONE follow-up visit resulting from the initial diagnosed illness, up to the total amount of $75.00 (US). (Written veterinarian diagnosis and receipts required.) Otherwise, the cat/kitten is sold as-is. Failure to have the cat/kitten checked by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours will result in breach of contract thus guarantees will be null and void.

We strive to socialize your new kitten to the best of our abilities. All kittens will be raised around other animals, children, and be used to bathing or grooming (although no guarantees they will grow to like it) before the day she/he goes home.

The Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping.
